The Vincent Massey Advisory Council meets the third Tuesday of the month, excluding December and June at 7:00 p.m. in the Vincent Massey High School Library. Meetings are approximately 1 to 1 ½ hours in length and provide an opportunity for parents / guardians to acquaint themselves with the environment their children work within, activities underway in the school and for administration to connect with parents and receive their feedback / input.

Terry Osiowy, Principal of VMHS, provides attendees with a school update that captures recently completed or future activities and initiatives within the school.

Agendas are circulated in advance of each meeting to those with email and are available during the meeting for those who don't have access to email.

Philosophy:

Vincent Massey Parent Advisory Council believes that children, parents and schools benefit when parents are active partners in the educational process and that it is reasonable to look for ways for parents, guardians and the community to strengthen their role in their children's education.

Mission Statement:

The Vincent Massey Advisory Council for School Leadership exists to foster communication between all parents, students and the community with the goal of improving the education of our students.
