Confirmation and Hotel Information

The field is set for the 2009 Brandon Sun Spartan Invitational this December 10, 11, and 12, 2009. We are extremely excited to have the Brandon Sun as our major sponsor for the Sixth year. The expanded format and high calibre of Basketball should make the 2009 BSSI the best to date and a great way to tip off your basketball season.

 The Victoria Inn will  to be our Host Hotel and I would ask that you stay with them if you require accommodations for the tourney.. Please book rooms with them. Rooms can be booked by calling 204-725-1532 under Spartan Invitational Basketball. The Victoria Inn  has set aside 120 Rooms for the BSSI 2009 and will dig up more if needed. They are contributing greatly to the 2009 BSSI and have many amenities that may suit your team.

  PHONE NOW AND BOOK YOUR ROOMS AS DECEMBER TENDS TO BE A BUSY TIME FOR HOTELS IN BRANDON. 

After the Thursday games we will be having an informal coaches social at the Vic Inn “34^th street Bar and Grill”. WING night and there will be plenty to eat. We will be purchasing some appetizers and drinks ( your choice??) will be have to be covered by yourselves. Hope to see most of you there. Likely get going by 9:30pm.

 Tournament Entry Fee is  $290 and payable to Neelin High School. I apologize now for an increased entry fee from my first communication in the spring. An increase in officials costs as well as new facility use policies have added greatly to the overall cost of BSSI.
