Course Units

Rationale: This course is designed to provide students with an introduction to communication and digital  media through use of software applications, hardware and various text and internet resources. Digital communication and media are ubiquitous in today's society and acquisition of  skills in this area are essential to become a productive member of the twenty-first century.

Note:

This course is done entirely in-class on the PCs. It is imperative that students attend regularly since lost activity, project and instructional time will be hard to make-up. Too much missed time will be detrimental to the students  understanding of important computer media concepts. As well, they will miss vital practice time which could negatively affect their projects and grade.
