Mrs. Veronica Adams & Mrs. Kelly Walker

The Neelin Guidance department serves you. If you need any assistance, please do not hesitate to contact either Mrs. Adams or Mrs. Walker. Leave a message at the front office and they will get in touch with you as quickly as possible.

Parents and students are invited to discuss any concerns with the counsellors. Mrs. Adams office is located in the main office and Mrs. Walkers' office is across from the main office.

The guidance department is there to assist students with a wide variety of personal, educational and career-related areas.

Some of the services provided by Mrs. Walker are:

Personal Counselling,
Social and Emotional Counselling
Providing Referrals to External Agencies and Liaising Between Agencies

Some of the services provided by Mrs. Adams are:

Assistance with the Registration Process,
Educational Counseling,
Career Counseling, and

Students are encouraged to read the graduation requirements document published by the province. Students can receive the following diplomas upon graduation through courses taken at Neelin High School:

High School Diploma (English)
High School Diploma (Senior Years Technology Education Program)
High School Diploma (French Immersion Program)
Mature Student Diploma.

Students may also be eligible for a Dual Diploma which shall include the Senior Years Technology Education Program and either the English Program or the French Immersion Program. Please go to the Manitoba Education website for more detailed information:
