Our students health and safety is of great importance to us all at O'Kelly. So please be careful and check your children's snacks before sending them to school. It is better to be safe then sorry.  Hello, my name is Tracey Gresl , and I am the  Home School Liaison. This site is here  to help  better serve you. My hope is that it can answer any questions you may have  and various health concerns that you may have.

A Home School Liaison  is not someone who home schools.  A Home School Liaison  is someone who maintains a link between the Home of the student and the School.

So if there is anything I can do to help you  do not hesitate, I am just a phone call away or an email away!

mailto:gresl.tracey@brandonsd.mb.ca

A Home School Liaison does the daily attendance, and phones home if a student is unaccounted for and the reason for the absence is unknown.

Since there is no school nurse, I maintains the link between the Public Health Nurse, students and parents.    I am not a nurse myself;  Like you, I have  plenty of health questions of my own so please don't hesitate to ask questions as well!  I will help you in any way possible... together we can find the answers!  Click on the link to learn how to contact O'Kelly's Public Health Nurse, and learn about various health concerns.

Lost and Found    Winter can be very cold if the children are not dressed for the weather.  I collect warm clothing from the United Way every November.  If your child or a child you know needs any article of warm clothing please let me know.  Throughout the cold months myself and all staff keep a watchful eye over the students, if we notice that a pair of mitts, coat, or a toque would warm a child its always offered!

Volunteers are always needed!  Whether its in the classroom, library!

Classroom Representatives are very important!
