Grad Information
Graduation 2010 will be held on Wednesday, June 23, 2010
- Convocation begins at 1:30 at Westman Place
- Manitoba Room doors open at 6:00
- Banquet at 6:30
- $65 graduation fee covers the cost of the rental of Westman Place, gown and stole rental, memento cap and tassel, music and sound system, programs and other rentals
- Fees and grad applications will be collected during semester one exam week January 25 to 28 in the library
- Banquet tickets will be sold Tuesday, May 25 – Friday, May 28 at noon in the Library.
- Seating will be reserved at the time of ticket purchase
- Banquet tickets are $43. This includes a buffet dinner, Manitoba Room rental, decorating, music and sound system, all applicable taxes and other fees.
- No limit on number of banquet tickets per graduate
- A photographer will be on site before the banquet for family and group pictures. Information for booking times is available in the school main office.
Graduation Photos
Graduation photos will be taken February 9 – 12, 2010 in the Vincent Massey library
Graduation photo retakes will be taken Thursday, April 8 in the Vincent Massey library – book your appointment time in the school office.
- Please arrive ten minutes before your appointment time
- Proofs and graduates’ pictures in the newspaper, yearbook and composite are included for a $25 sitting fee
- Sitting fees are collected at the time of your session
- You are welcome to go to other photographers for your pictures. Vincent Massey will provide you with a cap and gown to borrow for these pictures
- Graduates who have their picture taken elsewhere must have their pictures taken at Vincent Massey during February in order to appear in the newspaper and yearbook ($5 sitting fee)
- A photographer will be on site at the banquet

Banquet Tickets
Banquet tickets will be sold in the library from 12:30 – 1:00 pm Friday, June 4 Tickets prices:
- Adults and Youths$43
- Children 10 and under $21.
Choose your seating when you purchase your tickets.
Final Grad Meeting All Grads Must Attend

Vincent Massey Graduation Itinerary
A date for picking up graduation gowns and caps will be announced in June. A $20.00 (ONE TWENTY DOLLAR BILL) deposit will be required; refundable on the return of gowns in good condition. Gowns/stoles will be collected immediately after the ceremony. Caps can be kept as souvenirs.
Honour Roll graduates names will be posted on the front window of the office. Please meet at the Pioneer Lounge, Keystone Centre at 12:30, June 23 for pictures.
All graduates are to meet in the Pioneer Lounge at the Keystone Centre by 12:45, June 23. They will be arranged in alphabetical order to be marshaled on to the stage in the correct order.
Graduates will be directed through the procedure on and off the stage by Mr. Hartle, Mr. McLachlan, Mr. Milne, and Mr. Bolton. Please follow their directions closely.
Following the ceremony graduates will be led off the stage for a group picture. Then they are to return grad gowns and stoles to the Pioneer Lounge. All must be returned at that time.
All graduates must complete the information card which is read at convocation.
Guests are asked to be seated by 1:20 and remain for the entire ceremony.
Doors will be open for the banquet in the Manitoba Room at 6:00. Dinner will be served at 6:30 and followed by an evening program.
